Seniors in Service's volunteers will be recognized during a luncheon at the Hilton Westshore Hotel on Friday, October 31. The Mayor of Tampa and other elected officials will be in attendance to salute the wonderful volunteers who will contribute nearly 250,000 hours of community service this year.
| Senior Corps taps the skills, talents, and experience of more than half a million Americans age 55 and older to meet community needs in education, the environment, public safety, homeland security, and other areas. Senior Corps is administered by the Corporation for National & Community Service, which also oversees AmeriCorps and Learn and Serve America.
