Federal funding for the Navajo Foster Grandparent Program was just renewed for another year from April 1st to March 31st. We are now in our 33rd year and still going strong! The Annual Volunteer Recognition is scheduled for May 26, 2004, Little America, Flagstaff, AZ. This will be a fun event to appreciate our 191 volunteers who have served the past year. Navajo elders contributed over 160,000 volunteer hours within their communities from April 1, 2003 to March 31, 2004 and still going! |
