| WHY Volunteers feel
needed, productive and happy in their volunteer service by meeting new
friends and assisting others. WHERE Maricopa RSVP collaborates with 110 non-profit organizations in Maricopa County. Some of the areas of service include: El Mirage, Glendale, Peoria, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Surprise, Sun City and Wickenburg. Service opportunities include senior centers, medical centers, cultural centers and many other areas. WHO Volunteers must be 55 or older and complete an enrollment form. Volunteers must serve at one of our collaborating organizations and complete simple time sheets on a monthly basis to be eligible for benefits. BENEFITS RSVP volunteers receive a quarterly newsletter and supplementary insurance which covers their travel to and from the place of service as well as their service location, provided there is time sheet verification. They also receive an invitation to our annual recognition luncheon. HOW You can contact us by asking for RSVP at 602-264-2255 or e-mailing to: volunteers@aaaphx.org. |
