Welcome New Volunteers
The Heartland RSVP’s Staff, Advisory Council, and Volunteer Stations would like to welcome our newest volunteers:
Lena Daniels and Vine Baiotto
JOIN US -------
Be sure and mark Tuesday, April 27th on your calendar. The RSVP Advisory Council will be hosting a Volunteer Get Together for all RSVP Volunteers. Yes, we know it is a week late for National Volunteer Week, but many times volunteers can not attend the many functions during this very busy week, so, to make sure there is no conflict and all volunteers can attend, it will be held the following week. Join us at Thousand Hills Dinning Lodge from 2pm until 3:30pm. Refreshment will be served and the Pet Stop will present a program about bird feeding and housing. Are you using the right seed for the types of birds you want to attract? What size hole is needed on houses to attract just wrens? Please join us on this very special day!
MO Property Tax Credits -------
April 15th is almost here and those of you who think you qualify for the Rent and Property Tax Credit Program, there is still time. To find out the qualifications for filing and/or to set up an appointment with an RSVP Volunteer, call 660-665-8314.
A Special Week Just for You -------
This year National Volunteer Week will be April 18th thru the 24th. Volunteer Stations please plan to recognize your volunteers during this very important week.
