What Can RSVP Volunteers Do to Help?
 

  • RSVP volunteers save lives by installing HomeAlone-SafeAlone safety kits for elderly homebound in Pinal-Gila County.
     
  • Elderly homebound/frail often fall in the home and lie undetected for hours or days resulting in serious injury and even death. 
  • Help install HomeAlone-SafeAlone safety kits in homes that include the live-saving Guardian Angel Pendant and other safety devices.

A Sample of other RSVP projects are:
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)
*Become an advocate for a neglected, abused or abandoned child in the courts

Food Banks
*Assist feeding hungry families and individuals by assembling emergency food boxes, stocking shelves, or procuring foods

SPECIAL EVENTS:
Senior  Photo, Fingerprint and DNA ID Card Day
Free ID card provided at local senior centers through Triad, local and County law-enforcement and RSVP volunteers

Senior Corps is administered by the Corporation for National and Community Service, which also oversees AmeriCorps and Learn and Serve America.
