What is P.A.L.S.?
It is an unique home caregiving volunteer program aimed at promoting
independence and the well-being of each person served. If you face
the responsibility of caring for your parent, an aging spouse, or a
family member with Alzheimer's or some form of dementia, P.A.L.S. can
provide assistance. We train community volunteers who are
compassionate and willing to give you an hour or two of much-needed
rest.
How can you help?
Volunteers can make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer's
disease. There are many ways to volunteer. . .
-
You can help
develop and implement events and programs to raise public awareness
-
You can provide
assistance with Support Groups
-
You can give an
hour or two of relief care so the full time caregiver can receive
rest.
