The Foster Grandparent Program is a Senior Corps program which taps the skills, talents, and experience of more than half a million Americans age 60 and older to meet community needs at volunteer stations such as schools, daycares and Head Start Centers. Senior Corps is administered by the Corporation for National and Community Service, which also oversees AmeriCorps and Learn and Serve America.
