The Safe Seniors Program is a project designed by and implemented by RSVP and the Health and Safety Unit at the American Red Cross Southwestern Pennsylvania Chapter.

Trained volunteers of this program go into their communities to inform and train their fellow seniors about how to stay safe and be prepared.

The program covers safety topics such as:      1) choking,  2) heart attacks,  3) home risks,  4) personal risks, and  5) emergency preparedness.

The Safe Seniors Program is presented at senior centers, retirement groups, churches, etc.

To schedule a presentation or to learn more about this program, please call the RSVP Field Coordinator at 412-263-3183.
